IRSC spring 2014 hopefuls!

Published

Hello all! I just wanted to start a topic for those of us applying to the 2014 ADN program at IRSC. I am so excited to finish my prerequisites and apply! LetsAll compare our application processes and wait to hear back from the program together! My names is Emily and I am taking a&p1 and micro this summer, then taking the NLN in August and submitting my app!

Tell me about yourself !

Hey everyone! I will be applying for fall. Did any of you find the questions in the NLN difficult or just pretty basic?

I am in Vero Lake Estates.

So I went to do some math homework tonight and I realized I have the fifth edition of calculate with confidence so the page numbers weren't corresponding with what the sheet says they should be. I emailed one of our teachers but I was wondering if any of you guys know if I will need to get a new book or not? I'll be really upset if I do :/

What is everyone bringing to class on Monday? And we ARE supposed to wear our uniforms, correct? I'm not sure if you'll need a new book. That sucks! Did you get in contact with any of the professors?

Hey Emily! My name is Melanie, I submitted my application this week and have been awarded points for a and p , I'm in micro now. Have you started studying for the nln? When do you take it?

On Monday I am bringing my laptop, BE assessment report, login and password for the ATI critical thinking exam, the big orange book, (just in case) and wearing my classroom uniform and I.D. I will probably have almost everything else in the car though!

Has anyone registered their "neighborhood" access yet?

Haha! That's what I was planning too. I haven't registered mine yet. I have written in my notes not to purchase it until the program starts so I wasn't sure what to do with it.

I didn't even buy mine yet, do you think we'll need it Monday?

I didn't buy mine yet either so I hope not!

I didn't buy mine either. Waiting to see what they say about it on Monday.

I bought mine but haven't opened it yet. Does anyone know what we wear on lab days? The white top or blue polo?
