Hey everyone,
I plan on applying to IRSC's Nursing program for Spring 2017, and thought I would create this thread for us to talk about the application process! I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to study for the NLN? I keep seeing that they're updating the exam on IRSC's website, so I'm not sure if I should use the current study materials? Also has anyone had troubles figuring out transfer credits? I will have a BS from FSU and the courses that I've taken for A&P and Microbio have different course codes than the ones IRSC offers.
Good luck to everyone who plans on applying! Hopefully this thread can be as helpful as the last few semesters' threads have been.
Hi Guys, I took my exam yesterday on the 13th and I scored a composite of 134 and a total overall score of 165. The test was an okay test, however the reading passages were very lengthy with little to almost no time left to actually do the verbal portion. Math was really a piece of cake and the Science for me was a mixture of all the subjects: bio, a/p, chemistry, & physics combined. I felt like those questions were evenly distributed. Your best bet is to refresh on your weakest subject.
Congrats!!!!! What was your percentages in every part?
Hey guys! I took my test today and got a composite of 141 so a total of 173! The verbal part wasn't too bad, on my test there wasn't many vocab words from the book so I had to guess on some. The math was super easy, just a lot of proportions and percentages. The science was okay. I was stumped on a couple but it was a lot of bio. I'm just happy its over. Good luck to everyone!!!
