Hey everyone,

I plan on applying to IRSC's Nursing program for Spring 2017, and thought I would create this thread for us to talk about the application process! I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to study for the NLN? I keep seeing that they're updating the exam on IRSC's website, so I'm not sure if I should use the current study materials? Also has anyone had troubles figuring out transfer credits? I will have a BS from FSU and the courses that I've taken for A&P and Microbio have different course codes than the ones IRSC offers.

Good luck to everyone who plans on applying! Hopefully this thread can be as helpful as the last few semesters' threads have been.

What makes you think you're just an alternate? Did they specifically say that?

yeah the letter said i was an alternate and that i have to go to a meeting on the 14th of october.

I got accepted!! I'm so excited! I cannot wait to see you all & have you as classmates! I'm so proud of us! So we just respond in an email saying we received the acceptance? I just don't want to miss anything!

Hello Ladies,

I applied for Spring 2017 LPN program and I got my acceptance letter Sept 30th. On the nln I scored 113 and 75th percentile. I was really worried about my score at first because I wanted to get a 130. I got in so I'm ok and when I'm ready to transition to rn I don't have to worry about pre reqs. I finished all of my pre reqs back in May. I hope my post help with all those that applied to lpn and good luck ladies.

Hello everyone I'm new here....I was wondering does irsc offer the hybrid program as to where you can take your prerequisites online...is this true?I'm rrally looking into doing the nursing program at irsc but I need some help!

What do you need help with ? Oh and Yes you can take pre-reqs online.
