IRSC Spring 2017 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone,

I plan on applying to IRSC's Nursing program for Spring 2017, and thought I would create this thread for us to talk about the application process! I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to study for the NLN? I keep seeing that they're updating the exam on IRSC's website, so I'm not sure if I should use the current study materials? Also has anyone had troubles figuring out transfer credits? I will have a BS from FSU and the courses that I've taken for A&P and Microbio have different course codes than the ones IRSC offers.

Good luck to everyone who plans on applying! Hopefully this thread can be as helpful as the last few semesters' threads have been.

Do you guys think theyre gonna do anything about the glitch?? I shouldve taken mine the first weeek!

Took the test yesterday, got a 150 composite. Total score 165 with A&P 1 points.

dang you're in already with that score, and you only got 15 points added your composite score is beautiful.

To the people who have taken the test, are some of the passages from the NLN book itself

Also is it 6-8 weeks from deadline or the last day of nln testing? People from previous forums got their decisions in like 2 weeks but im not sure

My score is 125 ☹️

My score is 125 ☹️

Thats not bad!! Whats your total score with the points?

My score is 125 ☹️

That's good! As long as you get a 110 they will consider you! I would be elated if I got a 125 í ½í¸Š

Thats not bad!! Whats your total score with the points?

Total is 141

For the people who took the test already, do you mind posting your percentage in reading, science and math along with the points.

So...I'm going to be that person. I struggled to finish the reading comprehension section to the point I was just marking answers to the vocabulary to finish before it hits zero. Doesn't it put the people who had the glitch at an unfair advantage over everyone else?

dang you're in already with that score, and you only got 15 points added your composite score is beautiful.

thanks! I'm not really counting on getting in because you never know. But I'm hoping.

I took the NLN 2 days ago on the 12th, I scored a 113 on the NLN, and have a total score of 139. Good luck everyone!
