IRSC Fall 2015 Hopefuls! NLN study group.

Hello everyone! I know this is early to be talking about the fall semester 2015. I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying for fall semester and those the are studying for NLN test. I have an A.A degree and have never take the NLN. So I am planning to make a study group so we can study to take the test before or in march 5 2015. I know when people study in groups stay more focus because we push each other or ask did you study this yet (motivation).I know IRSC will have free NLN study January to February 2015 but we can start NOW! If you have any online study or book the help you with the NLN please share I have the NLN red book 3rd edition.Lets get together and study.Please let me know if you interested and have any idea how we can make this study group possible!Best of luck to everyone! :)

So... in shopping for shoes.. As a guy I find clogs and "nurse shoes" unappealing. I'm not sure how "white" our student shoes need to be...Do you guys think that these would fly?

Did you find out about these? Students from recent semesters said they have to be ALL WHITE, but I don't know if that's changed at all.

I just found out from the Health Department that I never had the Chicken Pox or the immunization. It wasn't an option when I was younger and my parents didn't bring me to get it when I was older.. fun fun fun....

HI guys m applying for the spring 2015 term I took the nln last term but got denied with an overall score of 140. This time around I have an overall score of 156 (finally complete micro) Do you think that would be good enough to get in? or should I retake the NLN.

Definitely retake it.

For sure retake.. That score will get you onto the wait list with the alternates. It never hurts to try for a better score. Good luck...

does anybody have any suggestions on what books to study from for the nln

Okay I am a little confused about what a titer is. I just went over the checklist again and my stomach dropped when I saw the titer part. I thought I was done! So we get the immunizations and then a titer is a separate test for each of them?
