IRSC Fall 2015 Hopefuls! NLN study group.

Hello everyone! I know this is early to be talking about the fall semester 2015. I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying for fall semester and those the are studying for NLN test. I have an A.A degree and have never take the NLN. So I am planning to make a study group so we can study to take the test before or in march 5 2015. I know when people study in groups stay more focus because we push each other or ask did you study this yet (motivation).I know IRSC will have free NLN study January to February 2015 but we can start NOW! :nurse: If you have any online study or book the help you with the NLN please share I have the NLN red book 3rd edition.Lets get together and study.Please let me know if you interested and have any idea how we can make this study group possible!Best of luck to everyone! :)

Well, I just checked the availability on the website and there are no dates for June/July.. I am going to try calling them..

The certification must go through graduation May of 2017. I signed up for May 21st at 12pm. It was the last class listed on the website.

Anyone with a total score of 150 or 151?! Just trying to see how many alternates have those spots and it would be really helpful to know if/when you get accepted! I'm also an alternate and getting pretty anxious. It's going to be a long 3 months :***:

Last fall an alternate got in with a 148 I believe but he/she didn't find out until August :(

I will be thrilled to get that email either way but it would be nice if it were soon so that I don't feel too overwhelmed. We have all of those math problems to do already but I'm hesitant on buying the book just yet.

How is everyone doing? It has been quiet for awhile.. Is anyone taking summer classes? I'm doing Psych and Human Dev online. Did anyone else sign up for CPR yet?

I signed up for CPR July 9th, 8am. Where is everyone going for shots, etc? I don't have a doctor in the area and I'm nervous about choosing.

So... in shopping for shoes.. As a guy I find clogs and "nurse shoes" unappealing. I'm not sure how "white" our student shoes need to be...Do you guys think that these would fly?

Hello, I just graduated in May 2015 and I am giving away my NCLEX books. They helped me quizzes and exams. Anyone interested I can meet up with you at the school to give them to you. I hate to throw them away..they were expensive. They are very useful with the rational.

Hi Armygirl. That is so very generous of you. I would love to have those NCLEX study books! I'm not sure that the small uniforms will fit, unless they run a little large.. You can PM me for contact info..
