Hello everyone! I know this is early to be talking about the fall semester 2015. I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying for fall semester and those the are studying for NLN test. I have an A.A degree and have never take the NLN. So I am planning to make a study group so we can study to take the test before or in march 5 2015. I know when people study in groups stay more focus because we push each other or ask did you study this yet (motivation).I know IRSC will have free NLN study January to February 2015 but we can start NOW! If you have any online study or book the help you with the NLN please share I have the NLN red book 3rd edition.Lets get together and study. Please let me know if you interested and have any idea how we can make this study group possible!Best of luck to everyone! :)
Did anyone sign up for a CPR course yet? I can't even figure out how or where to sign up!
Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex - Continuing Education
Here is the link to sign up for CPR.. Remember though that your certification must be valid for the full two years of the nursing program. I think that you need to wait until June/July to register...
Cheers!

Make sure you catch up on how to manipulate fractions and decimals. All math has to be done by hand. Vocab was pretty broad. I found that using the RN prep book was helpful, although easier than the actual exam. There is a massive amount of vocab assistance online. The physics portion was all recognition of theories and definitions. Science questions were quite random.. Again the RN prep book will help with that.
My key advice is to briefly review the topics that you are solid in and spend the majority of your "free time" studying the other content.
Most of all.. don't be stressed. Retention is killed under stress.
Good Luck!
