hi everybody!
it may be a bit early to start a thread for a program starting in spring of 2013, but i'm so excited and thought why not! anyways, i was enrolled in the adn program at irsc this past spring, but due to medical reasons, i decided to leave the program. now that i'm getting healthier i decided to get my cna license this fall and re-apply to the adnnursing program that starts spring 2013.
i learned a lot about irsc's nursing program, as well as the nln exam, so if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment because i would love to help out!
good luck to all of you!

"boobear0299, my sister just graduated from the program and she wore white Sketchers Shape Ups throughout her time in the program."
Thank you Slstr2010! Cant wait to meet you all at some point.
What clinical days did everyone pick? I am registered for Thur 630-430p SLMC ...after thinking about it I wanted to change it but its too late, no other choices. I am planning on doing the online version of the program for lecture, just planning on attending most/if not all lectures.
Any other good sites out there for books besides rivershop and amazon? What is your take on the books that editions are changing soon? I dont have the funds to buy one and then a newer one a month later.
Bizzimommee, thanks for posting on the shoe topic because I am a little confused myself! i thought we had to wear just plain white shoes. ( the handbook says no crocks, slingbacks, sneakers, etc) But maybe I really dont know the difference between a sneaker and a tennis shoe! :) would a white althetic style shoe work? and i didnt see the info on the shoes for clinical...if we cant wear sneakers or crocs what are we supposed to wear for clinical? if anyone knows about this...please post.
Christlee15 I called in and asked and they said no sneaker or clogs, slingbacks or sneaker it has to be an all white professional comfort shoe, I am thinking of getting a dansko, but there are others like nurse mate and such. That is for clinicals, I forgot to ask if we could wear an all white sneaker to school. We have to wear all white clothes for our clinicals so dont forget your zippered front shirt...lol I may call back and ask about the sneakers situation though...if anyone else knows please share your info.

Christlee15 you do not need the titer if the took the shots. The titer is to check for immunity and the date would be noted when you took the titer and your immunity was confirmed.
PDowling... I am still keeping my fingers crossed that you get in as well....please let us know if you do.
