IRSC ADN Spring 2013

Published

hi everybody!

it may be a bit early to start a thread for a program starting in spring of 2013, but i'm so excited and thought why not! anyways, i was enrolled in the adn program at irsc this past spring, but due to medical reasons, i decided to leave the program. now that i'm getting healthier i decided to get my cna license this fall and re-apply to the adnnursing program that starts spring 2013.

i learned a lot about irsc's nursing program, as well as the nln exam, so if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment because i would love to help out!

good luck to all of you!

Hi and Thx! On the IRSC website ... you sign in to River Life ... click on the Organizations tab ... it is listed under N as Nursing Student Association (NSA) ... then you have to click to apply for membership and wait for someone to approve your request. For membership in the NSNA (National Student Nurse Association) you have to go to NSNA.org and it is $70.00 for a 2 year membership. See you Friday!

Sweet! Thanks!

Anyone know what books we should bring to what lecture days? Did I miss that somewhere? Thanks

For most lecture days you will just want to bring your Fundamentals text if you need it. In the future we'll need to take our Davis' Drug Guide & Care Plan books, etc, but the professors will tell us a day or two beforehand. Just keep an ear open during lecture & check your Angel email for when you'll need them!

FINALS WEEK:dead: We made it!

Hello,

I am a fall 2014 applicant..I just have a few questions

How long after finding out you were accepted did you have to get the background/physical/drug screen done?

Was it before classes started or right after you got accepted into the program??

Also, did you have to go to a different facility or did you do it on campus?

Thanks guys!!
