  1. FINALS WEEK:dead: We made it!
  2. Says "white uniform skirts are acceptable or white professional shirts with zipper front' on the required uniform list in the ADN handbook. Not sure if the white zipper front dresses/ white skirts required for fundamentals, but I did find them at a medical uniform store.
  3. Does anyone know if the "white uniform dresses with zipper front and insignia on left sleeve" we need are available at the nursing bookstore or at Perkins medical supply?
  4. Ohh thank you for your help :) I decided to get the dtap shot instead of the pricey titers.
  5. Information overload at the meeting today, whoa. Does anyone know what all 3 positive titers of Tetorifice, Diphtheria, and Pertussis means? I have had 5 doses from 1992-1996 and a booster shot in 2004.
  6. Congratulations to all of you that were provisionally accepted ^.^ I was accepted via rivermail and am overjoyed.
  7. Likewise, hope we can all get in this semester! Good luck ladies! Hope it isn't as competitive as last year...
  8. The points from your courses in microbiology, natural science, etc. are added to your composite score on the NLN exam. I got a 123 composite + 115 course points, so I'm at 238 points total out of a maximum 320. My guidance counselor told me I needed, at the least, a 100 composite score and mostly A's in my main courses to be considered into the nursing program
  9. I'M NERVOUS NOW!
  10. "All applicants will be notified of their status approximately six to eight weeks after the deadline date." -ADN Admission Booklet
  11. I took the NLN exam today and scored a 123 (85th percentile). My total points on my health science application is 238 out of 320, which is the highest possible amount of points. The NLN was quite challenging, but I think I did well for my first time. Last semester a friend of mine scored a 120 and had decent grades; she was accepted into the Fall 2012 program so I'm confident knowing that. Has anyone else on allnurses.com taken the NLN for Spring 2013 yet? Deadline is Sep.6...
