Inver Hills MANE Fall 2015

OK, I know I'm not the only one excited and/or nervous about getting into the Fall 2015 Nursing Program at Inver Hills or any other nursing school in the Twin Cities for that matter. Can you believe there are only 5 and a half weeks until the application due date?! I know it's an even longer wait until we find out in March if we've been accepted or not, but I can't stop thinking about it. I couldn't find a Fall 2015 thread, so I thought I would start one. Who's with me? I've done all my pre-req's, took the TEAS, turned in my application, and now I'm just sitting here waiting and waiting. So if you're kind of in the same boat, let's chat it out until we get to that golden moment in the spring!

If i don't hear back by then, I'm going to make plans to retake my teas for the next round! Just in case. I have a feeling i might be further down the list.

I applied directly to metros bsn program. My letter stated that I was a strong applicant, but wasn't chosen. If I mail back my form stating I'd like to be reconsidered by the 1st. I guess that is the same as wait listed?

I think it's good to be prepared for the worst case scenario but hope for the best outcome. It's a little cliche but works in this case.

To be honest, I don't know yet. I was fortunate enough to be accepted to a couple schools and I haven't made up my mind. I never expected to be in this position. I'm pulling for you!! Stay positive! And keep us posted!!

That's amazing! Congratulations! I can't imagine what that would feel like.. Exciting yet overwhelming Possibly! I'm sure whichever school you decide to go with will be a great choice :)

Has anyone that accepted, denied. Or asked to be reconsidered heard anything yet? I'm waiting on a reconsideration with metro.

I havnt heard anything from my reconsider letter from metro state either...I spoke with Will last week and he said there isn't really a good timeline when to expect to hear anything on a reconsider list because you're literally at the mercy of other people accepting positions or later dropping out from them -_- probabLy not very helpful to you but something none the less...
