Inver Hills MANE Fall 2015

OK, I know I'm not the only one excited and/or nervous about getting into the Fall 2015 Nursing Program at Inver Hills or any other nursing school in the Twin Cities for that matter. Can you believe there are only 5 and a half weeks until the application due date?! I know it's an even longer wait until we find out in March if we've been accepted or not, but I can't stop thinking about it. I couldn't find a Fall 2015 thread, so I thought I would start one. Who's with me? I've done all my pre-req's, took the TEAS, turned in my application, and now I'm just sitting here waiting and waiting. So if you're kind of in the same boat, let's chat it out until we get to that golden moment in the spring!

Still anxiously waiting.. We may get a call in a few days, months, or even a day before the program starts!

I just re-read this and see that you applied directly to metro too. I know that we will do our lower divisions at a cc first (as metro students) I applied for the LPN-BSN fall 2015 and am dying to find out!!!! lots of others on allnurses.com that applied to the cc mane programs are getting calls from the reconsideration lists. Perhaps metro is waiting to find out how many spaces the cc's have?? I can't wait to find out!!!!! I looked into UofPhoenix in AZ on campus and pre-reqs are only good for 3 years! so all of my sciences have expired. I'm really counting on Metro!

So I got an acceptance letter to century today! I had to appeal my denial for a Chem course (I didn't need the course bc I transferred AP 1 and 2)....is century just a daytime program?

70.8 for science section (sorry I didn't read your post correctly)

76 on the TEAS with a 3.25(ish) GPA

if i remember right CTN91 our scores were pretty comparable so hopefully you will get a letter here soon?!

So for the fall program there's a list of things I need to do and turn in before June first and orientation is on July 22nd. Do I have to do everything even when I'm still on the waiting list?

I would say to make sure that you have your immunizations/TB testing and CPR up to date -- that way a healthcare provider can just sign the paperwork for you - background testing is super simple once done online. The rest is all orientation and stuff like that I think.

Well!!! I just got my letter for century! Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement! Anyone going to orientation in July, let me know so we can sit together :)
