Inver Hills MANE Fall 2015

OK, I know I'm not the only one excited and/or nervous about getting into the Fall 2015 Nursing Program at Inver Hills or any other nursing school in the Twin Cities for that matter. Can you believe there are only 5 and a half weeks until the application due date?! I know it's an even longer wait until we find out in March if we've been accepted or not, but I can't stop thinking about it. I couldn't find a Fall 2015 thread, so I thought I would start one. Who's with me? I've done all my pre-req's, took the TEAS, turned in my application, and now I'm just sitting here waiting and waiting. So if you're kind of in the same boat, let's chat it out until we get to that golden moment in the spring!

I've only found one person with the same composite score as me (same GPA and everything !) She was put on the waitlist at Century last spring but I don't know if she ever got a call. She got in at inver because her score was higher there however.

I'm sitting at a 10.87 and I don't have a good feeling about this at all

I would have been above the cutoff the last 4 terms at Anoka Ramsey, they gave us the admitting scores for those in the info meeting, but it is hard to know how people scored this cycle. I guess we all just get to wait and see :(

Congrats to those who got into Inver Hills! I received my denial letter from Inver Hills on Monday, but I am still hopefu! I took my TEAS test this past Tuesday for St. Cloud Tech. and drastically improved from 68.6% to 78.7% :laugh: Now I wait for them to pick the top 50 scores out of the 80 that took it. I wished I would've done that well in January but everything happens for a reason. I've been calling my dad every single day this week to see if I got anything in the mail from Century, Anoka Ramsey, or North Hennepin, but nothing yet! With my luck it will come when I'm in Mexico next week lol. The wait is killing meeeeeeeee.

My composite is 11.4. The cutoff before hasn't been above 11.16 at arcc.

Nothing from Anoka Ramsey today. This wait is killing me. At least I have scholarship applications due Friday to keep me busy this week, lol!

I was told Anoka Ramsey will "probably" mail Friday, so I'm guessing no letters until Saturday or Monday. A girl can keep hoping though right(and watching for the mail truck all day)!

I keep going through older threads and people's scores when they got in. Being that fall semester is more competitive than spring, I am slowly losing hope! I definitely have plans for trying again but it would be a dream come true to get accepted this round!! Ha. Here's to a few more days...

Good luck to you! That's unfortunate to hear about California! I was hoping to end up out there one day, however, that won't happen if I can't even land a job! Haha

I applied to mane LVN to bsn for fall 2015 too. did everything at dctc & inver, then had to move home to california Where I did more prereqs. The schools and job market don't even come close to MN Excellence. I miss MN!!! I hope I get in! And find out soon. I have a house to pack up and sell!
