How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hello,

My name is Tammy. I am new here! I found this site a few months ago but I had it on my favorites so I could check it out after finals! :) I am starting my lower division nursing classes this summer and I will start my upper division in Spring '04 and then graduate in December '05. So far this site has been very informative and I am glad I found it!

Hi my name is Donald.Everyone calls me Donny though. I am 40 and the father of 2,husband of 1.My daughter is 10 and my son is going to be 8 next week.Right at the moment I'm a diesal mechanic,going to college to be an RN.Always wanted to work in the medical field,but thought I was to old to start.Made a big change in my life and Thanks to the help of God,I'm finally making all my dreams come true.:cool:

Hi there,

My name is Jeanie and I am starting school next Tuesday in Austin, Texas!

(Well, it's my second time around in school:rolleyes: )

I've always wanted to be a nurse, and I'm really bored with my current job, so I decided to go ahead and jump in! I am married and our family consists of Sadie, Yuki and Patches. Sadie is our 6 month old chocolate lab, Yuki and Patches are our kitties. Needless to say, we have put our children-making aside for a-while.:D

Anyway, I am starting my pre-reqs that consist of: English, Psychology, Math, A&P I & II, Pharmacology, Intro to Nursing and Microbiology.

I am taking Eng and Psch this summer. I am so very excited!!!

I was told about this forum by a member, and it looks to be very promising!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself.....Hi :)

Hi everyone! :)

My name is Jen, 27 year old (28 this year), married mom to two great kiddos. I'm also a CNA and an RN student. I've been working on prerequisites for 3 semesters and just found out that I've been accepted to the RN program for the fall.
