Interview (VENT)

Hello everybody!

Today I had my LVN interview and boy do I feel crappy:o. There was three people doing the interview and one lady was so mean, rude, and very condesending:nono:. She had her back to me the whole time:angryfire she didn't even introduce herself to me are shake my hand and she's the directory of the program (go-figure) and is DR. somebody the other two ladies where very nice, it was like nursing school version of good cop bad cop. I wanted to :trout: smack her.

When I left out of there I wanted to cry , I had so many things planned today but after that I just wanted to come home and curl up in bed. Why do some people have to be so mean? I was also very nervous of course and the way she was actting did not help one bit!!!

I studied my butt off for the entrance exam and prepared for this interview weeks ago and today I feel so bummed out. I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions. Now I'm going to go crazy:uhoh3: waiting on my letter from DR. .

There is no excuse for treatment like that. I think I would definitely find another school to go to. I would not pay that woman's salary!!!

I had an interview like that last year. She was the nm of OB. I knew after 5 mins I did not want to work for her. At the end of the interview I kindly told her NOT to call me. No way would I work for someone who is so openly rude to possible employees. I can't imagine how she treats current employees or worse - patients!

Yeah I believe the interview went will besides the way I was treated by DR. rude. She did ask me if I had transportation and would I be working and going to school. I do have a car and no I won't be working so that is a plus since they incourage you not to work. I hope I get into this school!!!

I had something similar happen to me, but it was a job interview, the woman was such a jerk, she made me soo uncomfortable and nervous, to a point that when she asked me the famous "strength and weakness" question I couldn't answer it. I went totally blank. needless to say I didn't get a call back, which worked out anyway, because I didn't expect a call back and I decided to stay in my current position at work and apply to nursing school. I hate people like that who are in power and have no respect for others.
