How does this sound?
Dear Mr. ABC,
Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to interview me about the registered nurse position at the..........Regional Medical Center. I highly appreciate your time and consideration. After speaking with you, I believe that I am a great candidate for this position, offering adaptability and strong desire to learn. I value how you manage your units in a combined fashion, making teamwork a strong priority.
I am very interested in working for you, this institution and caring for its patients. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Please feel free to contact me at any time if anything further information is need. My phone number is 000-000-0000. Thank you again for your time and consideration.
I changed things for identity purpose. The last line is something specific from the interview to make it more personal. The interviewer is the manager of four units (small hospital) and he told me how he operates them together so they are able to help each other with staffing and such so does that line make sense to any of you?

I think this first sentence sounds awkward. You interview someone about a topic, you interview someone FOR a job.

I overhauled the whole thing saying pretty much Thank you for your time and consideration. I enjoyed having the chance to interview with you. I look forward to hearing from you soon and added a sentence about a point we talked about in the interview. I think it was four or five sentences
As someone who has hired for various positions in past roles, I will say that your interview thank you is a great idea, but too long. Keep it short and sweet. Four sentences maximum. As in, "thank you for meeting with me regarding x RN position. I value the way in which your unit makes teamwork a priority. I am very interested in working with you."
Most managers I interview with give me their cards upon the closing of the interview. When I get home I immediately send them a thank you email.. I have always liked the idea of a personally written thank u note, but let's face it..By the time they get the note via snail mail, a decision may already been made... Case in point, I have sent thank you emails on my last 2 interviews and have gotten job offers.. There also has been a thank you email sent after an interview and I wasn't offered the job.. But overall, it may be the extra effort that gets you the offer

No one has ever given me their business card nor have I ever thought to ask for one (I will in the future). The interview I went to I was the first to be interviewed so I sent a handwritten card in the mail the same day.

I just said thank you so much for taking the time out to interview me and really look forward to hearing back from you! Ps, I got the job and they LOVED the card! They told me that they rarely if ever get cards?! I was like" what!" Lol. So good vibes are coming your way if your a card getter person
good luck! ?
Did you mail them or bring them to the office?

Good day:
Good job on sending out thank you letters / cards for interviews.
As someone who has been hired (in part due to the thank you letter) as well as someone who did perform hiring, thank you cards and notes were worth the extra points.
Thank you.
