Hey everyone who applied for CSULB's Fall '09 School of Nursing (And current/former CSULB students)! I got a call today to schedule an appointment for an interview with the nursing faculty. I did not know an interview was necessary and part of the process! I am very nervous and don't know what to expect for the interview! Has anyone else gotten a call regarding this?
When I answered and heard "..from California State University of Long beach" I thought I was gonna get news of acceptance, but nope, just to schedule an interview, haha.
congratz you guys. you guys are so lucky. i dont feel too confident about making it in. I tried calling that number 562 985-4463 but it said my call cant go through. is that an automated number or like an office number, Bebeey? since i live in sacramento, i dont think i will purchase a round trip flight just to check the front window.
Rizzay, did you get accepted into CSULB or its nursing program? Well, congrats either way! D_fernandez, the phone number is an automated number, but it's able to transfer you to the nursing dept office, so maybe it's too late for your call to get through. You can try calling again during business hours on Monday. I wasn't too confident either coz of my TEAS test scores, but all went well.. just keep your fingers crossed!
hey everyone! Just an update, I called them earlier today (well technically yesterday cuz its almost 3am haha..) and I got in!!
fernandez, yeah that's the right number. For some reason, sometimes when I call it, it says the number is invalid or something and then when I call again a couple minutes later the call actually goes through and someone picks up. So keep calling until someone picks up.
Good luck to everyone still waiting to find out :]
P.S.- The lady who I talked to said I should be gettin the acceptance letter and some information packet regarding orientation and stuff.
if you want to get into the trimester program spread the rumor to your peers (its a true rumor) about how they once let people choose after completing half of the first semester (in my cohort actually) and people hated nursing school so much that they had hissy fits and even contacted the dean of the entire school to avoid trimester haha. Im in it though and it's fine. Might as well get the suffering over with
congrats
