Vermont say around 3-4 months after they receive your application until they issue the ATT, New Mexico is supposed to be quicker if time is important to you

3 - 4 months will be fine gives me time to get revising lol and pass my NCLEX

And this may be a dumb question but what does ATT stand for

Att= authorisation to test, once you get the ok from BON register with pearsonvue and they will issue your ATT which you will need to be able to sit NCLEX

glad it went well with your transcript

Thanks guys - Claire you are so right it was you who told me the theory booklet may count as clinical hours and it definately did - Lol Im so pleased

The advice you guys especially Claire and Rebecca have given me is excelent I am so grateful for you all and for finding this wonderful site

Thanks Clare, isn't that what's so great about this site though? There's always someone whose been through what you have & can give practical advice from their own experiences.

I'm just truly pleased for you though, it's one less hurdle to overcome.

I hope others take note of the really good advice from Claire too - get your transcripts first before worrying because you may be worrying about nothing!

Oh & while on the subject of advice I'm regurgitating another really good piece of advice from this forum - totally unrelated of course but it should be a sticky on it's own I think - any of you thinking of going to the USA get yourself an American Express Card, use it wisely, then you can transfer it when you go to the USA & have a decent amount of credit (which is normally a really hard thing to do because you have no credit history over there).

Now go study Clare!! Pay for your N-CLEX with your AMEX & you're sorted!
