Hello to all!!! I am planning to sign a contract as an RN to Ryders Health Management. Any idea about this agency:uhoh3: ? Thanks

Hi!

I work for Ryder in Connecticut. Be careful; what you sign and read the fine print. Sign the contract for 2 year obligation only as our nurses only signed for 2 years and be sure your base pay is at least 26 dollars an hour! the LPNs are making just below that if not that and they are not nearly as educated!!!

oomerci can you please email me because i was offered a nurse position there for 3 yrs contract 25 usd per hour

mod note. please do not post email addresses for your own safetly

Please be very aware that any of these contracts are not going to start for years from now, things may be very different by then and they may not even have any needs. If no needs then, then all of the paperwork with the US government gets cancelled and you start over again from the beginning with a new employer.

Take the time to thoroughly check out any agency or employer before you sign with them. And pay close attention to cancellation fees, not just the salary that is being offered.

Does not matter if you sign up with an agency VSC has 5 years and has to be renewed agency or not. You are still looking at a few years due to retrogression and an agency will not make it any faster or alter the status of VSC

so what would you suggest? to sign a contract now or not? I dont care about the retrogression. My concern is to find an employer to file my papers for I-140. Im willing to wait even for 5 years and would like to gain an experience here in my country.

is working in a nursing care facility a good option?

will USCIS deny or revoke an applicants application for EB3 visa if the applicant doesnt have any hospital experience?

They will not deny you if you do not have working experience in a hospital. There is nothing stopping you from finding an employer just be aware employers can change their mind (it happened to me back in 2005 and I had to start all over again with I140) Hospitals can also be bought by other groups and they may also not want foreign trained nurses. The same can be said with an agency, no telling if they will still be around in 5 years. Only you can make informed decision on what you do, we just advice on what is happening at the moment.

Hi Silverdragon>>>

just read on your post : "There is nothing stopping you from finding an employer just be aware employers can change their mind (it happened to me back in 2005 and I had to start all over again with I140) Hospitals can also be bought by other groups and they may also not want foreign trained nurses. I doubt it as PD is set to job and employer. That is what happened to me, I could not keep my PD and had to start all over again
