 Hi,

Is there anyone applying to this program that’s based in Florida in February 2021?

I’ve enrolled today and very excited to start in a few months.  With the cost of programs & how competitive it is these days; I’m glad to see an alternative out in the world!

Good Luck ? Everyone!

Thank you for all the great responses to this.  Just beware of schools that are out to get your money and not provide you the service you paid for.  Again, my advice to you is to try the local colleges and try to get in.  There are some schools that are very expensive up to 80k. The more you wait for this pandemic to be over, is money loss for each and every one of us.  I just got accepted at a local college LVN to RN.  I have to wait till the fall to start.  Please do not give up.  Keep searching and there are some really good schools out there.  Take time to research.  Good Luck to all you future RNs.  You got this!

Hi VSU97,

Congratulations... In regards to the GAP, I have not taken it yet, but I do know that it is online. When you get the welcome email with the items needed for application, it will give you the information needed for the GAP test.  Nursing Fundamentals and Pharmacology $150.00 non-refundable.

If you pass this test, then instead of it being 15 months, it would be a 12 month program ?

Doing well in the program so far, there is alot of information to digest in med-surge, I'm already counting down the months until graduation which should be in 10 months for myself! I can't even imagine that I'll be an RN soon, back then I was thinking it would take me 2-3 years or more.

Also the associate dean notified us that clinical sites for florida is opening back up so we should be able to schedule soon too. Good luck to you!

Hi Astarion!

I dint know why my comment says im all set for April 5. I just barely found out about this school. Im excited for you!!  Yeah 10 months will go fast. But anyways, what pre reqs do they require? did u do them online?

Im from california and I heard clinicals can be done in a week in Florida for couple of times. That means I will be flying out to Florida.

How much is the tuition? Any loans?

Thank you for responding back to me. Appreciate it!! Good luck future RN!

Hey JoyZ, so yes every semester we have to go to florida for clinicals which is about a week or two, depends on the sem requirement. My tuition is around 30k since I did a assessment test for skipping fundamentals and pharm which reduced it from 35k! They offer payment plans while in school and they have a private lender also which you can pay later after you graduate, it depends if you get approved though.

The best first step to getting all the info about the school and requirements is calling the enrollment advisors! Jackie was great at emailing me all the info!

 Good luck to you.

Hi Astarion

Im also an LVN in CA I will be starting the program April 5th! Im so excited, I had a couple of question's for you if you don't mind. They had told me about the clinicals that we would have to fly out every semester, have you been to any of the sites yet? Do they give you enough time in advance to get your flight, hotel ect? Im just wondering they said a week but I've notice that the clinical  requirements are like 225-270 hours thats more than a week LOL.
