Hi,
Is there anyone applying to this program that’s based in Florida in February 2021?
I’ve enrolled today and very excited to start in a few months. With the cost of programs & how competitive it is these days; I’m glad to see an alternative out in the world!
Good Luck ? Everyone!
We had a webinar that covered everything related to this percentage. I see that a lot of people are reluctant on attending ICHS, the only advice that I can give is if you’re “hesitant” please attend an on campus nursing program. ICHS requires a person to be able to work “independently” I can say that I know ALOT of people have graduated, took the NCLEX and are now practicing as RN’s in California. 80% of Students enrolled at ICHS are from California.

I realize this but the number I cited does include those California nurses who took NCLEX. Results aways get attached to the school where the diploma/degree was initiated for testing.

I’ll be starting April 5 and I’m going to start the same classes so what testing are they using are they using ATI sherpath or HESI because I keep hearing all different things. And how are the test done proctor do they have any specific days because it is so hard getting information from them and I’m just trying to set my schedule ahead of time especially my work schedule so that I can have enough time to really study thank you!
HESI but it’s not your normal “HESI” these are questions from ICHS that are used on a HESI platform. These are questions that you should already know as an LVN. Hope that helps...

Like I mentioned earlier, if in doubt this school would not be for you.
Good Luck!

The school's rationale for the lower NCLEX score is only available to those enrolled, not those considering to give a year of time and X #dollars. An odd recruitment strategy. Can you tell me what was their rationale for downtrending NLCEX pass rates?
I don't expect you to actually provide the testing analysis information but I find it disengenous that the school/owner and director choose not to explain and hide behind their students' skirts. It just is a BEWARE program, similar to Essential school of Nursing etc.
Again, like I stated earlier. Please don’t waste anymore energy on something that you’re reluctant to.
For me: All I needed was proof that people are practicing in the State of California that graduated from ICHS. That was enough for me. Regardless of percentages, strategies or anything in that nature. I hope you find the information that you’re looking for.
Take care!

No matter which program we are in, we still need to study hard. If student can’t pass one time, they still can try many times right? I know someone passed the fourth time.

Lots of work, but so far it’s been great!
Have they said anything about when students will be cleared with American DataBank? I placed my order a long time ago and it still shows the school has not paid for it. Any word on clinicals for your session? Even the online simulations? I am in session #1 and have received zero information. Every time I have asked about any of this I have gotten the brush off.
As you mentioned in another post, I also was sold just on this school being online and meeting CA BRN standards (hopefully still does) so I've just been trying to go with the flow, but I am very concerned about their clinical being suspended. What did they do for students who were in the last session(s) during COVID and their clinical locations were suspended? Nobody has posted about that. I also read this school was suspended from the Florida BRN mid-session a couple years ago and did not refund anybody; they made them wait until they were re-approved with the Florida BRN to continue.
Whew.
