why do the guys have caps as well... and why is everyone numbered? It looks like the nursing students are being auctioned off! lol

He doesn't even look that miserable. Wonder what he does with the cap after the ceremony.
Count at least four male nurses with caps. Then again only going by the fact they are wearing white lab coats and trousers, while the females are in white dresses and stockings. There is an article that goes with this picture, but did not know if it counted as "news" thus had to be vetted prior to posting.Am wondering how the men got the caps to stay on with such short hair? I would pay good money to see one of them running for a code and keeping that cap on! *LOL*

Why shouldn't they wear caps? I mean if it is a requirement for that school, it should be a requirement for both.

It looks like a beautiful ceremony. I wonder what the numbers are for, that is the only thing that looks strange to me....but I am not from there so its only natural.
Maybe the numbers are the individual's class standing?

"Different" as in, it appears to have been taken outside the US ... and therefore a typical US graduation ceremony would probably appear "different"?

I'd like to know why the men have stripes on their caps and the women don't.

I agree it looks like it was taken somewhere in the East, and they may have all kinds of different traditions and expectations that would seem strange to us.
