Does anyone know anything about Indiana State University's LPN to BSN program? I'm wondering about clinicals and online class info. Thanks as always
You are exactly right on! But I am having a hard time finding the 4 modules anywhere!!! I can't find anyone who has taken any of the 4 tests either...ANYONE OUT THERE??

I haven't taken the tests yet but I'm getting there. I'm finishing up my application package for the nursing program now. I've found so far that the ISU people are super easy to work with.
Try Ebay for the modules. I got them through TCN but I guess that's a bad word around here. Whatevah. lol!
That's my frustration with this program. I keep getting the runaround with regards to which states will not license (by endorsement) an individual with an online degree from ISU.Also, I am getting the runaround with regards to the clinical portion of the class. The College Network tells me that there are clinical sites here in Syracuse, NY ... but they don't tell me which hospitals or sites. Then comes the message directly from ISU that New York doesn't recognize the ISU degree.
So what the heck is going on?? It's very difficult to find someone at ISU to directly talk to. I want to talk to someone in charge (who knows what's going on), and not some salesperson reading standard sales literature off of a computer screen.
Frustrating to say the least.

Try this guy [email protected] He's the one setting up my clinicals and would probably be able to answer your question.
when the isu lvn to bsn program started i was one of the first to contact tcn. i even went to a seminar and met with them. i seen these people face to face. they told me that isu was accepted in every state. i was not worried cause i know how texas handles out of state nursing programs. however, about 6 months later people started complaining they had signed with tcn and isu was not accepted in their state....they lied to these people or failed to tell them the truth...you pick
or it could be that information changed. that happens sometimes.
When I signed up with TCN they included a letter from my BON saying the ISU program was accepted. I know it's accepted now because I have clinicals and everything arranged and the hospitals check on that. Just wondering if those who later found out that it wasn't accepted got a letter in their packet or not. I was just thinking that might be good advice for others considering this program to ask for a letter from the BON before signing up.
