We've had such a long thread regarding whether or not we'd be a nurse if we could go back in time and start over again.

Let's do something light-hearted!

I'd like to know in one sentence what your dream job would be if you could choose anything...anything at all.

My dream job would be a photographer for National Geographic.

:D

Specializes in Emergency/Critical Care Transport.

I've always wanted to be the villian in a James Bond movie. They get the coolest pads (hollowed out volcanoes, undersea fortess, space stations) the hot bad girls, the ingenious world conquering plots and of course the juiciest lines:

"Look after Mister Bond, see that some harm comes to him." Mmwhahahaha!

Specializes in LTC, CPR instructor, First aid instructor..

I would love to be a philanthropist so I could give to the poor, the homeless, the helpless victims of war and poverty in foreign countries, and a missionary. Someone like Mother Theresa. She did so much good. And since I love people so much, if I had the opportunity, I'd do something like that too.

My life is not about me, but about all of you who could benefit from my love, my humor, my giving, my thoughtfulness, and my peace of mind, because they are such a beautiful gift from God.

Fran:nurse:

Specializes in Community Health Nurse.

TODAY...I wish I ruled the World because there is soooooooo much that I would love to change and make better in this world.

Of course, if I had Bill Gates Bazillions to work with that would give me an excellent running start. :D

I'd make stained glass and sell it in my very own shop! :)

then make it happen and then you can.

To what inspires you

RU Kidding?

My sister is a teacher and often complains about the following:

1. Teacher to child ratio is a joke - you can't do a good job because there are just too many kids to make a real difference.

2. The pay is crappola ++

3. Men rise quickly to the top with less experience and skill, leaving the women doing the real work

4. Not enough resources to do the job - management does not have enough money in the budget to buy them.

5. There is some excellent equipment and resources on the market that would make a real difference, but again no budget so all resources are 20 years old.

STARTING TO SOUND FAMILIAR??

Not until I was spoken to by a Cardiologist about owning my own business did I deside to do something about it.

Male Nurse in Colorado

A world traveler, and write books about my travels and be the photographer for my books also. :D.

If I wasn't a nurse, I'd be a lawyer....

You would be suprised how many more doors would be open to you.
