I will be taking my test next Thursday for the first time ever.
I need some last minute tips from recent test takers.
Anything will help. Like what areas should I focus on?

We are not allowed to divulge specifics about NCLEX. However I can tell you I was tested pretty much over all areas. I used a Saunders NCLEX Reveiw book and read the chapter on test taking strategies. Then on one sheet of paper I made a list of the strategies and as I did practice Q's in the book I put a check if I got the question right an "X" if I got it wrong and then the number of the strategy that would have helped to get the question right.
With this method I discovered what content I needed to study more and which test taking strategies I needed to improve on most.
The week of my test I continued to study but I also scheduled some relaxing activities, a massage one day and a movie another. The night before I put everything I needed for the next day in the car so I did not forget anything. I had planned to get a good nights rest as well and eat a good breakfast (which I highly recommend) however work called me in and I worked all night instead.
I had driven to the testing site a couple weeks before my test so the day of I would know exactly where to go. The morning of my test I was delayed at work as my relief staff was late arriving and I was so glad I knew exactly how to get to the test site. I arrived just in time enough to spend a few moments in prayer and then it was test time.
All the study, preparation and prayers calmed my nerves and I passed with minimum questions.
In the first few chapters of Saunders NCLEX was all the last minute NCLEX-PN TIPS I needed.
