i was wondering if people can help me track the processing of papers by posting here. i was thinking to narrow it down to papers filed with 2006 receipt dates.

references u.s immigration terms:

1) rd : receipt date (date when uscis received application )

2) nd : notice date (date when uscis sent the receipt notice).

3) lud : go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp , register yourself. enter all your pending cases. after login you will see your case no, last update , auto email, form , form title...... .lud tells us when the last time your file is accessed.

4) fp : finger printing

5) ad : approval date

6) nsc : nebraska service center

7) ead : employment authorization document

8) ap : advanced parole

9) i-485 : adjustment of immigration status

10) i-140 : application of immigrant visa

11) vsc : vermount service center

12) tsc : texas service center

13) csc : california service center

Could you provide some details as to what were your dates. May be I can guesstimate my big day.

My case is similar to yours.

I485 pending

Green Card approved. My I-140 and I-485 was approved the same day (7/14). I feel so blessed that it went so fast....

Ok got my work permit and travel authorization approved today! I am very happy as my OPT finished May 15!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmm. Today is Emancipation Day in Trinidad and I feel like it is very pertinent to me at this moment!!! Thank God. I am definitely dancing today!

Receipt Date June 20th 2006.

Process completed- August 3rd 2006.

Congratulations.

StaRNew, you have mentioned that your RD was June 20th 2006, In that case, you are saying that I485 got approved in less than 45days. That makes me wonder!! I have not heard anybody get approval so fast. Please re-affirm that the dates you posted are correct. Also what service center have you applied to.

Guess what!!!! Yesterday my application for a green card was approved!!! WOW. I feel so grateful especially as I prayed so much.

OPT from May 2005-May 2006

Receipt Date June 20th 2006.

Process completed- August 3rd 2006.

The dates I posted are correct. Texas processed my application. Still waiting on my husband's green card, he has not done his biometrics yet...Re: 45 days...all I can say is God is good all the time.

OPT from May 16th 2005 to May 15th 2006 Optional Practical Training after F-1 status for BSN at University of Miami.

Last day of work May 13th 2006. Papers sent the same week by lawyer. Babysat for my cousins for free after that. LOL and surfed the internet obsessively.

Receipt Date- June 15th,2006 for I-140, I131, I485, I765

Notice Date- June 20th, 2006 for all documents

July 17th I140 approved

Aug 1st I765 approved

Aug 1st I131 approved

Aug 3rd I485 approved. An immigration officer called my lawyer from Texas and she called me and gave me the great news. Received email notification soon after. Got a notice on Aug 8th via email that they mailed it to me. received it yesterday with a notice that said it was approved along with travel documents with my picture on them!!!!!

Started orientation to GI Aug 7th!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I am hoping and praying for my hubbies green card...

I wish you luck. Any other questions I will be happy to answer about my experience.

Also in terms of wondering about my dates the originator of this thread got her I140 and I485 approved the same day!!!!!!! That is wonderful!!!! if anything...LOL.

HI guys! I am palnning to AOS. Have you stayed applied the 30-60 rule before you applied for AOS? Does this rule also apply to dependents?
