Congratulations. StaRNew, you have mentioned that your RD was June 20th 2006, In that case, you are saying that I485 got approved in less than 45days. That makes me wonder!! I have not heard anybody get approval so fast. Please re-affirm that the dates you posted are correct. Also what service center have you applied to. I have Michigan license and do have SSN(graduated from Michigan) and the state Michigan is not under Nursys. I have filled the application to Michigan Board to send the license verification to BON of CA. I mailed all the documents to Sacarmento 16-17 days back. Now I asked them what all documents they received thinking that if everything is there, I can drive to Sacramento and get the temp license on the same day, they say they have not received my application yet. I don't know if I need to wait for 2 more weeks or if it'll be worth driving to Sacramento if they have nothing in my name as they said. Also, I know the college needs to send trascripts for permanent license. How about the subjects other than nursing I did back home? Like microbiology,anatomy for which the credit was transferred in Michigan, does the college back home also have to send transcripts to Bon,CA for those subjects ? Once again thanks for the prompt previous replies, really appreciate it.

Hi Suzanne, I applied for temp license on July 16th 2005. I called BON(CA) on August 1st, they say they have not received my application. I am kinda frustrated. Will I wait for 2 more weeks or go to Sacramento directly to the office and see whats going on. Will appreciate your advice, Thanks

Hi Suzanne, I graduated from a community college in Michigan,have a Michigan state RN license. I have applied for temporary and permanent California license. My employer needs temporary license to offer me any jobs. Do you know whats the time period to issue a temporary license from CA BON?

i am also looking forward to find how many months does it take for the permanent licensure through endorsement. but it looks like the original question never got it answers. thanks for help
