Yes. And that where the difficulty comes in - on getting the required points. They either need a superb IELTS score or years of experience to actually get the required points. As you can see, from the quota of 13500+ for registered nurses, only 1106 applied and qualified.

Which is better sc 189 or 190.?

if you have the required points (60 points), then apply for subclass 189. 189 has no restrictions attached to your visa.

if you score less than 60 (55 points), then 190 maybe for you as it require state sponsorship. State sponsorship will give you 5 points so your 55 points will be 60 points. However, you need to stay and live in that particular state for two years.

Hi guys, I want to ask about the initial certificate of registration / statement of entry required by ANMAC... What is it exactly in PRC? Is it the board certificate or the certificate of good standing?

hi iamnomad,

just curious, in the event i find a job in australia. and i have less than 3 years experience..i would apply for state sponsorship rather than wait on the 1 year australian experience....do you have to stay in that state for exactly 2 years or would you be permitted to have a vacation after 1 year of work?

Most states want 3 years paid experience for state sponsorship visa and yes, you can leave the state to have holidays, interstate or overseas.

you are morally obliged to stay in the state. but yes, you are allowed to go anywhere you want for vacation. States are pretty much aware of your intentions anyway. They would want someone with the real intention of staying on that particular state.

You will be asked to leave if you do obtain a States sponsorship visa it is found out you did not live in that area you have the visa for, happened recently to a couple from the UK that did not realise their house where they lived was outside the regional area where they worked was, they appealed but it was declined.
