This thread is for discussion on immigration requirements for Australia and New Zealand. Questions on nurse requirements please post in the Nurse Registration forum and if necessary this thread Meeting APHRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hello there, I actually did not believe that the australian embassy would give nurses like us who would undergo a bridging program a single entry visa for the 456 category. Your case is sad news:(, I hope you can find a way to extend your stay in australia after the BP. Anyway, I am in the waiting list for the October intake also in IHNA Perth. I am really hoping that IHNA would be able to give me a slot. Are you done with your online course?
Thanx ajlynx16 for your concern. Ya I too hope that God give me some way to extend my stay there and all the best to you too for October intake. No I am still not done with the online course. Intending to complete before my course starts

Curious does anyone know what the average starting salaries are for new grads? I know that AU and NZ are two different countries, but more curious about in AU. I know that in the States, CA in specific, the new grad's pay ranges from USD$35/hr to USD$48/hr or more, depending if it's northern or southern parts, depends on where you live and of course, each city has its cost of living that tries to match the salary.
