Hi everyone. How do i follow up my application online? According to nationwide, they already forwarded my file to the E-health systems (Australian Embassy). They sent me a link but I do not know how to gain access.

Hello everyone,

I just had my medicals today at nationwide here in makati, may i know if it really takes 2 weeks for them to forward the results to the embassy?

anyone here who can share their experiences with nationwide? thanks

I had my medicals last sept 12, nationwide forwarded my file to the embassy last sept 17. So that's only one week.

Had my medicals last Monday at Nationwide Cebu and upon checking the progress of my application, they have received the results of the said examination. Did you apply online? Do you have your TRN? You can check the progress using that.

In my visa application 456 which i lodged last thursday i did not include a health insurance coverage. Do you think it would be fine without that? I've heard a lot of nurses going overseas do not take advantage of that.

Can you pay if you require any medical assistance. 120 for a doctor, 200-300 for ed and if you have an accident and need admission to a hospital it is about 300-500 a day plus medications and if there is surgery, well the skys the limit.

All public hospitals are directed to secure funds these days from people that are not covered by medicare arrangements or overseas health insurance.

You will be treated in an emergency and then you will be pursued for the funds to pay for it.

If not paid will be entered on the system as having a debt to the commonwealth of Australia and will effect any other visa applications.

what i did was when i was emailed regarding my medicals schedule, i replied in the email and sent them a scanned certified true copy of the insurance agreement and receipt.

actually some really did not submit a proof of health insurance but in the requirements for the 456 visa it is written there that you should. my agent said some got delayed because of this. but its still your choice :)

Hi everyone, I went over the 456 application form, just wanna clarify a few things about answering it properly. Hoping to hear from the ones who've done it already. :)

question 13. current occupation

question 14. employer's name, position, etc

-what if not currently employed as a nurse? or doing part-time but not healthcare related?

19. describe intended prinicpal business activity in australia

-do i just put bridging program? are there any other specific details i should include?

23. Do you, or any other person included in this application, intend to enter

a hospital or a health care facility (including nursing homes) while in

Australia?

-i assume this is yes, since clinical placements are part of the BP? kindly confirm :)

24. Do you, or any other person included in this application, intend to work

as, or study to be, a doctor, dentist, nurse or paramedic during your stay

in Australia?

-"NO"? since the purpose is BP?

25. Do you, or any other person included in this application, intend to work,

or be a trainee, at a child care centre (including preschools and creches)

while in Australia?

-apparently everybody will be looking for work. how do we answer this? i'm a bit confused coz there's a "trainee" clause. are bp students considered such?

Thanks in advance!
