You need to talk to the people and facilities involved. I'm guessing that no one here will be able to help you since no one here has any idea what options you may have.
I looked into University of Chicago but they require to many prequites. I'm thinking about taking some classes next summer at a CC that will transfer over.
Kariace, your post said, "Should I just drop out of the college I'm in and wait another year to apply to nursing school that don't require perquisites". Now it says, "I would talk to the facility as well."I'm confused ...are you posting as two different people?
I'm confused as well because I did not edit my previous post.

This is my first time on allnurses and I really need some good advice on what to do. I'm enrolled in a Liberal Arts & Science college (as a freshman for the fall) that does not have a nursing program, yet I really want to transfer into one, but the thing is my credits are most likely non transferable.
Here is my schedule for my 1st fall semester (my intended major was biology to become a vetnarian):
Biological science foundations w/lab
Chemical science foundations
Writing studies 1
Cultural Anthropology
Introduction to Philosophy
Statistics
All freshman's are required to take the general studies so I wasn't given an option on what I wanted to take for future nursing school.
So now I'm stuck in a bind and I don't know what to do. I already deposited the $500 for my dorm room and accepted/awarded my finacial aid and scholarships.
Please respond, I'm really stressing out over this.
