Don't feel bad about celebrating. When I got into the BSN program I practically put an ad out in the paper. I have a countdown going because I start on January 13th. I had to keep it a secret at work because I'm resigning to go full time. When I gave my notice I ran from floor to floor yelling to everyone "I'm going to nursing school". People think I've lost it.
Congratulations and the best of luck

Hahaha, that is a riot. I can't wait to do the same when I give my notice! Thanks for the laughs with that post.

I know it's not a huge deal, but I'm just so glad that I dropped of the application to the BSN program I really, really want to get into for next year!! I decided to go back to school for nursing over the summer, very late in the summer. I figured out what pre-reqs I needed, signed up for classes at community college last-minute, and now I'm only 2 classes away from finishing my pre-reqs! I'm just so proud of myself for pulling everything together and paying for it all myself.
Okay, I'm done gloating. Now I just have to get through finals...sigh.
