I'm going crazy...I WANT classes to start

OK, I know I'm just plain nuts - but I am going stir crazy. I have already taken down my Christmas tree, cleaned the whole house, got the exercise equipment all set back up (Mom was staying in that room during her visit), and I have reorganized my pantry. I have been updating my music collection tags, I am now looking at organizing the cupboards under the sinks and thinking of alphabetizing my spices (already labeled). HELP ME! My classes don't start until January 19th and I am wishing they started tomorrow - anyone else?

PS. I am on Ch 2 of my Chem and Ch 4 of my AP textbook already and working my way through 4 chem help books (dummies, studysolver,etc) at the same time.

Have you got a NCLEX book to study as you go through your classes? (read that someplace and can't find the thread, ugh)

the lippincots NCLEX review(

and i just bought the saunders on sale for 23 bucks used from amazon with the CD (it was used but there was nothing written or marked!)

I was not at all surprised you did, you are definitely organized and prepared. You're gonna do GREAT! Let us know how your first day goes.

back2thebooks - LOL! If I was there I would help! We are in a rental and I can't do anything like that here. Our house is 2 hrs north and needs a whole interior paint job too, I will probably be doing it this summer before we move back in. Hopefully the move falls between semesters. I am working on our crawl space now and then when I get up there every couple of weeks (still got some plants there), I have a downstairs bedroom full of boxes and totes to go to a garage sale in the summer. I have 10 years of stuff to go through and have felt for a couple years now to lighten the load. Hmmm...you got me thinking maybe I can take a couple days and work on it, at least gas is cheap now, only costs me 25 to fill up the Jeep as opposed to 75, woohoo. Thanks for the plan! lol

i feel the same!!!!!! i want classes to hurry up and be here. i am going on my last semester of ns!!:yeah:i feel like im getting cabin fever. although i do have a long "to do" list, i just want to start classes. i have been reviewing past material to start preparing for nclex, and im going to start on my neuro chapter, but its not the same as being in class on schedule. hmmm.... i can't wait till pinning. once classes start i will feel that much closer to it

Hey Sand Dollar! I homeschool, too!

I am sooo anxious to start this semester too. However I'm not anywhere near as organized yet... but I'm working on it. I need to buy a paper shredder in the worst way so that I can clean up my office. But I'm getting some major dust removed and the toys are getting sorted out. Then if I could get my hands on a label maker all heck would break loose! LOL

You guys are killing me! I thought I was really getting ahead around here until I read your posts. My kids are small and I can barely keep up- wish I had the time to get that 'ready' for school ... I am just trying to keep my two toddlers from ripping more keys off the laptop or my 4 year old from using Sharpies to color her books (they always bleed through onto my desk). Right now she is riding her new Razor scooter in the house. (Our weather has kept the kids inside for WEEKS) I wish I had your energy! You will do great!

Yet, I still cant seem to get motivated enough to clean my house. I want to, I need to.. I just end up sitting on the couch or at the cpu at allnurses.com!!

I cant wait to get school started. Im pretty sure I cant start the program until next spring, and considering I have been back in school for a year and a half and came into the pre-nursing program with 10 credits already, Im tired of waiting! Lets get this show on the road.

Now, Id better start cleaning.

Me too, while I am at work and at home doing laundry and watching tv. I am so glad that I found this site. I have learned so much here and I'm not even in my nursing program yet. I can't wait.
