Ugh! I just got the worst news ever. I work for SSM and they have a tuition reimbursement program that prepays tuition for school, well my mother just called me and told me that they announced today ( I was off work at a funeral) that they have suspended that program and a ton of other things like executive raises and our 403 b match program and capital purchases and stuff. That really stinks, now I will have to attempt to get loans.

I would definitely be looking elsewhere for my employment since they obviously do not seem to have the need for the position and they could very easily terminate your employment even after hiring you into the position as they did with the other girl. They do not seem to be all that interesting in recruiting you or keeping you on hand for employment in that position if they are not responding to inquiries in a reasonable time period.

Well, if they had you sign papers and then hired someone else into the position and let her go and now tell you that you do not have the job, I would have to say that this facility may not be the best to work for as their hiring practices seem to be a bit shady.

So after letting said person go, they still do not want to hire you into the position?

Did they happen to tell you why you can't have it? Did they hire someone else, change the qualifications, etc? Really need more info to be able to help

I had never used it before and when I found out who was going to be teaching, I went to look her up..... she wasn't on there. I haven't used it to rate anyone yet. On another note..... YAYYYYYY Me, I am starting to understand the conversions.

I would have looked up my instructor on rate my professor.com but they didn't decide who was going to teach it until the week before. Believe me i will be rating her so no one else has to deal with that.

Sounds like my instructor. i had to have someone else help me just so that I could understand the conversions to do the homework she gave us since we didn't have class last week. I'm going to be very angry if I have to enlist outside help to pass simply because my instructor is a ditz. She gave us problems to work and one was to get the mass of a waterbed, you get the mass of water needed to fill it..... turns out that that waterbed would weight as much as my DH diesel truck...........ummmm I think thats a little too big to be a waterbed don't you.

You can set up an interview at anytime. Be sure to mention that you need to wait until your 6 months, some places will bypass this is both managers agree. Set up your interview if you believe that job is the right fit for you. The hiring manager would be more apt to wait for you to come than to hire someone right away who may not be as good of an asset as you would be. Good luck
