Hi y'all I'm taking the test this upcoming saturday (the 1st entrance test) at Greater Lowell and I will like some advices/opinions/essays topics of those who took it already....I'm just scared about the essay because I have no idea of the topic, if there's any choice of topic and English is my second language (I know everyone keep telling me I'm doing great but..it doesn't change that much), Please if you know anyone who's going there or went there inquire for me , please!!

Lol sorry, has anyone ordered thier books directly from the site they have us? If you did..how long did it take to receive them? I ordered on July 30 and my order still says "processing" a week later..WTH I thought it would have shipped by now?!
Damn I wish I thought of that, I only checked amazon and it was that big of a difference..but no I work 3-11 until school starts so I haven't gone..stinks! Have you? Is it informative?
It took roughly a week for my shipment to come in from the book site they gave us. And don't be fooled by the "processing" icon thing, it still said that even when my books got to my house. If you ordered your books July 30th you should be getting them soon.
Dont worry they are on there way!!!!!! hahaha....no really they should be coming soon.
Just an FYI if anyone is interested. I've found that the best site for ordering books is www.dealoz.com This site actually searches every other website online and returns the prices for each site so that you can choose the cheapest whether you're planning on buying or renting your books.
yeeey now done with the boot camp, so awaiting the big day. i thought i could recognize any of you guys at the boot camp but nooo, and nobody even talked about this site , so i also just kept low.
You didn't miss too much from not going to boot camp. It was just basically a whole lot of test taking techniques and note taking techniques. The best thing about boot camp week was meeting with the former students that was what made it all worth while to me. It helped to see that you can actually survive this and that it is all very doable! I was so overwhelmed with the info they had for us but at the same time so grateful to have the opportunity to talk to people who have been in our shoes! Less than 2 weeks and we will be starting! Rest up, do something fun, and try not to think about school because before we know it that is all we will have time to think about!

Yeah bootcamp was pretty insightful I loved the test taking secrets about the "clang" words and all that and loved when the past students came as well.
Yep just a couple of weeks to go!!!! Nervous, Excited, and ready!!!!!
