Hey! If your willing to travel...I am starting at the greater Lowell technical school next week. I took the teas in may! I passed, then went to the interview, with no previous college credits but 5 yrs as a CNA, and I was accepted about a week later. They do not have a waiting list, if you are not accepted then you go back into the pool like everyone else. They seem to accept people strongly based on experience and motivation. Whatever you do don't give up! Best of luck to you.

Damn I wish I thought of that, I only checked amazon and it was that big of a difference..but no I work 3-11 until school starts so I haven't gone..stinks! Have you? Is it informative?

Lol sorry, has anyone ordered thier books directly from the site they have us? If you did..how long did it take to receive them? I ordered on July 30 and my order still says "processing" a week later..WTH I thought it would have shipped by now?!

I start my nursing journey in LPN school August 20. Girl good for you! When your feeling overwhelmed just take a second to look at it for what it is, you will be a nurse when it's over. The program won't last for we it's under a year of our lives! One year of torture begins a lifetime of financial security for you and your little one.

Fellow nursing student, I too plan on bridging into a local lpn-rn program after my lpn is completed. Go to bestnursingdegress.com and find programs near you. Many community colleges have them and it usually only takes ONE year after lpn to get your ADN-RN. Pretty sweet! Just stick it out for 12 more months and you can boost your salary by thousands. I am from the outskirts of Boston and lpns make average of 45-50,000 where RNs make 60-80,000. Worth it in my opinion

Hey girl, I'm 24 in the same boat! Life got crazy and I wanted no part of school..now I realize money is king and I need it lol. So I start lpn school in August..And im not stopping until im a god damn NP i dont care if im 40 when im done school! All I can say is it took me a while to realize you can't compare yourself to other ppl. Only YOU have lived your life and gone through what you have gone through. Nobody knows anyone else's struggles, we are all on our own path, just gotta worry about ourselves! Good for you wish you luck & happiness.

Omg just got the packet! So excited its really starting to set in! But dam, my accounts keep dipping lower and my credit cards higher! Lol but it will all be worth it guys.. Hope your All having a nice relaxing summer before we are memorizing index cards while we dream lolol

Thanks for all of the positive energy everyone! You were right, the interview was not bad at all he is so nice! He said I should get a letter by the end of next week..gonna seem like a year! I wanted days because I work 3-11 but he said days is filled so my only option is nights! But it's ok I have time before the. (If I get in) to fix my schedule. I'm so jealous of you all! Lol I hope I will w joining you in August! But congratulations guys :)

What's up everyone?! I just found out I passed the entrance exam..(i know..I took it last minute ..) and my interview is Thursday! How long did it take after your interview to receive an acceptance or denial letter? Thanks for the help!! I need to calm my nerves!! Lol
