I was in a nursing program. I worked hard to get into my nursing program and on my first day of school find out I have to move (bc of military) I had to withdrawl and start the process over for another program that has different requirements. I saw on fb that my nursing class started their clinicals today and seeing them in their nursing uniforms makes me so sad because I'm not there. So here it goes..I have one extra class to take, the TEAS, and the stress of hoping I get accepted. I needed to vent...came here hoping people would understand

Oct 14, 2016 Whenever I hear that someone else is being bitterly disappointed I fall off my chair in amazement thinking how unempathetic and I, me, mine the responces to other people's woes can be. And this given the hype that nursing is the "caring" profession. OP: you have two invaluable things going for you right now. One is youth and the other is time. With those two things in your favor the possibilities are limitless.Thank you and your husband for all you do to keep the rest of us safe. The road to success Is hardly ever a straight line even for those in their shiny new nurse's suits.

If so, you should consider getting an ASN degree rather than the BSN (don't know what you are currently trying to do). That way, if you decide to go for your BSN, you can do an online RN to BSN program which would not be impacted so much by a physical move.
