Hi...
is someone here in this Forum who comes from Birmingham? I will start overthere in a orthopedic hospital as Theatre Nurse. I've never been in Birmingham, only 3 or 4 times in London.
But my goal is still to work in the states. The cgfns is done, so I wll do the nclex in london and also the 2 english tests for the immigration, I hope I will get it!
If someone would like to exchange infos that would be really great,
see ya

Welcome to Allnurses.com.:balloons:
You can actually just do the IELTS series and only have the one fee and the one exam.
Hi Suzanne,
I heard that the IELTS are more difficult? I don´t know what will happen in the future with the new TOEFL, because there is now a speaking section also. Someone heard about this? I mean what changes will come throug the Immigration process,if they still want both tests or maybe only the TOEFL?

Hi Ramona000
yep im from birmingham, a brummie as we are known. You going to the royal orthopedic hospital? Birmingham is a great place. Lots of tourists come here too. I wish you well and hope you achieve what you set out to do. Take care now.
Thank you. Do you know something about the Hospital? I hope it will be fine. Do you know what the regular period pay is? I have no idea. In Germanyis it every 4 weeks.
I read a lot about Birmingham, it seems really nice and a lot things to see and to do.
The only bad thing will be the weather...always rain..from the sunshine state it will take a little while, but it'll be ok.
I am looking forward to read more from you,

Pay in hospitals is usually once a month. The different hospitals I worked at always payed on the last wednesday of the month, except christmas and usually got paid a week early
The good thing about being in the middle of the country there is plenty of opportunity to travel and visit most places in the UK without it takinf several hours
