congrats to you.... I still have to do it, but don't know really where to start studying. I am a oversea nurse (germany, currently UK) and it is different from the german exam.. maybe you have some tipps?

Hello Suzanne, that through the agency. They told me, that I have to do FIRST the TOEFL and TSE, and when I get these both test done, then I can do the NCLEX. But my English wasn't good enough at this time in order to pass the tests. With the NCLEX it is not so hard for me. Then, in August, a new one started at the agency and she told me, NO, you can do the NCLEX first, because the english tests are for the immigration prozess! So, I waste the whole time!!! That is the reason, why they send it hopefully last week to NY. I am really angry with that, you can believe me. I was the whole year in Florida and now I had to go to England in order to earn money and my Visa(B2) expired after 6 month extension in November.You ever heard of the agency "Open Hearts" in Miami? Hello Suzanne, I don't like the IELTS, thats the reason why I asked regarding the TOEFL. It is with too much graphs etc. and I onky learned auntil now for the TOEFL, I am more familiar with that. The CGFNS, on my account, I can see, that the report issued in March. I filled the applicationform, with picture and Notary signature and sent this to the agency in October. Last week, when I called the Agency, they told me, that they are going to send the application to the NY State Board. Thats all what I know. I am going to call the agency today or tomorrow in order to ask if they actually sent the apllication to the NY BON. But what then? I 'll get the approval from the NY BON and with that I can pay the pearson institute and then I get the ATT CArd in order to make the appointment for the test,is this right? I hope so. I am going to do the test in London because I am since 3 weeks in Birmingham as a OR Nurse. Thank you Suzanne, Greetings, Ramona

I know that this is not the right catagorie but I am unsure in which one to write it. My question is, what points do I need for the new next generation Toefl and if I need in addition the TSE despite that the new Toefl has a speaking section? I already asked the CGFNS(I am doing the NY Verification unfortunatly via an Agency in Miami), the Ageny in Miami and also the TOEFL, but nobody was able to give me an answer of this for me very important question. I read the .gov website, but also nothing to find. And another question regarding the NCLEX: My Agency told me that they were going to send my Application Form for the NY BON last week. How long will it approximatly take to get the ATT Card? Thank u very much, hope someone can give me an answer of all these questions, Ramona

Thank you. Do you know something about the Hospital? I hope it will be fine. Do you know what the regular period pay is? I have no idea. In Germanyis it every 4 weeks. I read a lot about Birmingham, it seems really nice and a lot things to see and to do. The only bad thing will be the weather...always rain..from the sunshine state it will take a little while, but it'll be ok. I am looking forward to read more from you, Ramona

Hi Suzanne, I heard that the IELTS are more difficult? I don´t know what will happen in the future with the new TOEFL, because there is now a speaking section also. Someone heard about this? I mean what changes will come throug the Immigration process,if they still want both tests or maybe only the TOEFL? Ramona

Hi... is someone here in this Forum who comes from Birmingham? I will start overthere in a orthopedic hospital as Theatre Nurse. I've never been in Birmingham,only 3 or 4 times in London. But my goal is still to work in the states. The cgfns is done, so I wll do the nclex in london and also the 2 english tests for the immigration, I hope I will get it!
