ok...first off...l confess...l stold this idea from melissa 24 off of another thread.....(sorry)....:imbar... .but l have given this a lot of thought for some time now...since branding my self l.rae..(first initial l..not i..and middle name)....it was an impulse not realizing that l branded myself for the rest of my cyber-life......

My nickname is Bird or Birdie too! The weird thing is that my husband also had the nickname Birdie when he was young .

I guess I'm pretty happy with my screen name, although a lot of people thing of bass as a fish instead of a bass guitar.

HAHA Heather, that made me think about a patient I used to have a long time ago. Never used the call light, used to just shout at staff members when they walked by. "Hey, get your hootnannie in here!" He was one of my favorite patients. Had a bit of dementia, but able to do much for himself. He had been an English professor, and always dressed very carefully. Would not go outside unless he had his fedora on. Sometimes out of the blue he would be begin quoting Shakespeare, Whitman, things like that. Yet if he was in his room he never failed to yell that hootnannie thing. I thought he was a treasure.

I like mine too. It's different and no one seems to forget it, although sometimes people ask me if it means I do research on rabbits (NO NO NO!!!)...

It's research (for what I do) and rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) because, like the White Rabbit, I am chronologically challenged...

My nick goes back about 15 years, with computer "bulletine boards". There was a limit as to how many letters you could use for your user name (9), so that's why the original spelling LOL
