I just submitted my application for February's class but I am soooo hesitant to actually go through with it.... Are the negative reviews troublesome to any one else? I really need an online / hybrid program, and I don't know of any others, but this program has been slaaaaaammed by so many students. Multiple people, including those I know personally, state that it is a highly disorganized program. They've stated that they change teachers mid class and change the testing format without any notice then tell you to be "adaptive" because you'll have to do that as a nurse. I don't know....I'm so nervous but I've been looking to do this program forever so I am truly unsure of what to do right now.

Hi. I plan on signing up for the February cohort too, but I'm in the same boat as you! I have mixed feelings about this school since I've heard how disorganized they are. But I really need a hybrid LVN to ADN program and it's unfortunate California does not offer this option. I do have a friend who just finished at ICHS and she says they've been doing their clinicals at the end of the program due to COVID. But it was also convoluted because everybody was trying to complete their clinical hours, and there were no available days when they signed up for it. The admissions advisor did say 50% of clinicals will be completed online: VSIMs. I may just bite the bullet and go for it. But not 100% yet. ?
Know that each person experience maybe different, you may have a excellent outcome with this school. You know some people piggy back off of what they read or have been told. Also some people lie about their experience being awful so that you want accomplish your goal. Give the school a chance and change the narrative. Some people attract negativity, but do what you need to do for your outcome and return to the forum and write your experience because I know several people who attended this college and they are RN and encouraging others to attend. Therefore, it is up to you and you only to decide what you want to do.
