Yes, I am from Los Angeles, I replied because nothing in life is perfect and if you want something you go after it, no matter the circumstances. What happens to one person does not mean it will be your destiny.

I just submitted my application for February's class but I am soooo hesitant to actually go through with it.... Are the negative reviews troublesome to any one else? I really need an online / hybrid program, and I don't know of any others, but this program has been slaaaaaammed by so many students. Multiple people, including those I know personally, state that it is a highly disorganized program. They've stated that they change teachers mid class and change the testing format without any notice then tell you to be "adaptive" because you'll have to do that as a nurse. I don't know....I'm so nervous but I've been looking to do this program forever so I am truly unsure of what to do right now.

Hi, I'm from the central coast of Ca.

Of those people that you know personally, have any of them been able to complete the program?

I was actually enrolled to start nursing core classes Nov 2021 but they made me retake one of the pre-requisites I've already taken (and passed!) but I suspect it was a way for them to get more money.  I will now be starting the nursing core classes with the Feb 2022 cohort.  Do you know how they're handling clinicals now --has anyone heard anything about that?

We should start a facebook group to help and support each other throughout the program

Hi. Here is what their admissions advisor informed me.

" All clinical will need to be satisfied here in FL.  The standard for our clinicals would be to travel within every semester, so about every 3-3.5 months, for about 8-12 days per semester. However right now, due to pandemic clinicals are 50/50. 50% online via Vsims (virtual simulation videos) where you will do clinical assessments online. The other 50% will be completed either when facilities open up or prior to completing the program and graduation".

I hate exit exams and they do scare me, too. I was told it's like the HESI exam and passing score is an 850 or above. My plan is to stay focused, organized, and study, study! I am starting in February as well.

Too true! And if every potential issue would have stopped me, I'd never have gotten anywhere in life. It's prudent to step with caution and forethought and to consider the experiences of others, but all circumstances and issues considered, I think this program is a rare opportunity and still worth it for me. I definitely believe that what you put into something is a greater determination of your destiny than the cards you are dealt, so I plan to push through. I know you'd said you know multiple people who have graduated, but will you be considering the program yourself?
