Starting at ICHS in October 2024, I will be taking my APA exam soon. Does anyone have tips on what to study/what to expect?

I am thinking of starting then too. I've heard most people pass fundamentals but have to take pharm. I'm hoping to test out of pharm by studying for a bit before taking the test.
Do you know if they make you retake prerequisites that are more than 10+ years?

Hi, I am planning to start in October as well. I hope we can build a group so we can all communicate between each others.

Hi,,
I'm from CA and also hope to start ICHS in October 2024. I just submitted the application and paid the fee. Does anyone know the next steps to come?
Hi, I've just submitted mines too. I'm schedule to talk to a recruiter to go over the emails and documents required. There's a lot to documents needed.
Hi Vee,
OK yes I'm waiting to hear back from someone to start the next step also. Where are you located in CA.
Rey, I'm from Sacramento California and you?
I took the APA and did not pass pharmacology so I will start pharm October 7th.
They do not make you retake classes that are over 10 years old you'll be fine! You will be assigned a specialist who will send you a list of what you need to do. It's fairly simple. The only thing I haven't done is sign up for complio which is needed for clinicals
Oh so you took the APA. Then did you
also have to take the Distance Education Readiness Assessment as well? Did they have a proctor for that exam too?
It's just questions. Not really an exam!

Hello,
I too am starting October 7th, and will be taking my test next week. Is anyone here from Kern or LA county area?
I did not have to take any test since I'm not an LVN. However, yes they do take classes over 10 years.
I will be starting in Oct 7 and coming from northern cali. They took all my pre req so I'll be starting first semester with the core nursing classes. If anyone is starting out the same please me know. I would like to know if anyone would like to be room mates during clinicals. thanks.
