The school I currently attend has a partnership with the company IASIS. The company is willing to pay of our edcation and relocation cost in exchange for 3 years of work commitment. I was trying to find out how good the company hospitals are in Arizona. I am interested in Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Az. What is the starting pay for a new grad RN with some LPN experince ( about 6 years). How is the company benefits? What is the company shift differential? Is there a high turn over rate of RN's in the hospital? How is the community in Mesa, Arizona. Or, has anybody participated in this partnership?

Take what you can get, ANYTHING.
Even if it is the worst hospital in the world...
Actually MVMC is pretty nice, brand new hospital. Expect pay from $25-$29/hr
Mesa is large city, actually I literally live about .5 miles from MVMC. Nice neighborhood.
IASIS is considered not the best system in Arizona...Banner or CHW are much more desirable but...
Take what you can get! Seriously.

What school are you attending? How much of the cost do they help you with?
If you don't mind me asking about you school?
I go to a school in ohio that is partner with IASIS. The company is going to reimburse us for the cost of our education and pay to relocate us to one of there hospitals. I was very interested in Mountain Visita Medical Center in Mesa.

crangel - FYI, Apollo College's clinical sites are IASIS hospitals like St. Lukes in Tempe and Phoenix.

I was really wondering if they offer contracts to Apollo students? This is what I have heard. Do you know anything about that?
Thanks
I have met quite a few Apollo grads during my rotation there already, but most may be from when IASIS was paying for their schooling. I didn't ask them about that directly.
Also, it seems Mountain Vista is where we'll be having our OB clinicals next semester. For most of the students I know, that's WAAAAAAAAY out there.
BTW crangel, you have a PM.
