I tried the PVT and it looks like I failed 😭😞

i studied for 2 mos made use of kaplan, saunders, and pda as my resources. The exam went till 265 questions and it went crazy. i just knew I failed. tried PVT after 24 hours and it says my cc is invalid (I used an invalid cc).Is there hope I can still pass? This is so devastating. Need help and hooe.

If you used an invalid credit card that is more than likely the reason that you received that message.

The PVT has changed. You might look up other threads on that topic. It's probably best, however, that you wait for quick results or your official results.

I had been crying. Really depressed right now. Thank you for the response. I will need to wait till tom @8am. But everyone seems to be rejoicing about how the pvt is so accurate.

By the way a friend of mine tried an invalid cc and she got the good pop up and passed.

Glad I could be there for you. That's what we do we help each other and lean on each other. Getting a plan is great as soon as you get the paper they send you showing where you needed to do better then start planning. It's not the fall it's the getting up that counts

The term "invalid" could be that the card is simply "used up" and is no longer useful for spending purposes or it could mean card numbers that are completely made up. The system is going to check the card numbers to see if the card is indeed not something simply "made up" but a card that has been issued. If the card shows as "good" then what's likely to happen is that the system will check your pass/fail flag and if you have passed, it'll stop payment processing right then and give you the good popup message that's been around for a long time. If you have failed, it'll try to process payment and if you've failed, it'll tell you that your card was declined...

Because of that, I would expect that a finding of "invalid card number" means that the card didn't pass the validity test. Since it's pretty late now, I would wait a few more hours and simply try the Quick Results, if your state participates in that program.

Thanks for the reply. To elaborate, the card that I used was a desctivated card. I called the bank few mos ago for this card to not be activated anymore because I dont need it. My friend used the same and she got the good pop up and passed. I am hoping it is a mistake but mine showed up card declined: call bank. ? We'll see in a fee min. Im getting the quick results.
