I took my NCLEX today and I think I failed :-(

Hi everyone,

I took my exam today and I came out feeling totally empty. I got to 176 questions before the computer shuts down. I felt like I was getting every one of the last 10 questions wrong before it shuts down. Plus, I kept getting a bunch on infection control question, drugs, and priority questions ; It was a nightmare, I am so depressed. Did any of you take it recently, if yes how did you do...I am paying to get my result tomorrow and I know I wont sleep tonight...another thing, is there an RN chatroom where one can go and talk....I need some moral support. :cry::cry: :cry:

yeah i got headache too! cause I'm only getting like 3 to 4 hours sleep.. you're lucky cause you're state has quick result not like here in California.. I have to experience that headache and being so paranoid for 3 days! lol and yes! I can read you're mind lol just kidding! we've been there.. I guess all of us went to that process lol it will be over soon! pvt works! I know you passed! for now just pretend that you are sleeping cause I know it's hard to fall asleep when you're thinking too much! lol

OMG...throughout yesterday it was telling me that I can't register and I needed to contact the BN for more assisstance; now all of a sudden it's telling that "my test results are currently on hold and a new registration can not be made"...what does that mean?...could it be after they reviewed my test they decided I failed?...I don't know what to think... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm freaking out please can someone tell me if they had a similar situation and what happened please?

I have the same situation as you now. i am freaking out too. Their computer is messing up. I have to go back to the testing center to retake my fingerprint. If not, they won't give my result. I got the message and I think i failed the test. What can I do now??????????????????????/

I took my exam in queens, NY...I don't know what's going on. Do I need to call them? though it still hasn't been 48hrs for me yet...well, not technically, it will be later on this afternoon. I am freaking out...mine was giving the PVT pop-up all yesterday, and then this morning it changed to that new message...GOD help me!

Want2succeed, don't worry you passed. That message simply means you can't register again because you already registered and passed the exam. If you didn't pass, it would have brought you all the way to the cc page which would require you to register again. So cheer up you did it. Your a nurse:yeah:

You think so...Thanks for the encouragement, I desperately need it. My mom just told me she dreamt that I pass lol . I feel so drain right now, I just want to know my faith...I can't take the suspense anymore. :-(

hey thatagirl, definately take care of those finger prints so that your results can be processed properly. what message did you get when you did the pvt?

want2succeed i'm more than certain that you passed your definately a nurse....As long as you weren't asked to register, you are good to go. :up:

Thanks. I did complete my fingerprint. I got the message " the result is on hold. Another registration cannot be make at this time" I am so frustrated now. I can't wait for the result.
