I took my NCLEX today and I think I failed :-(

Hi everyone,

I took my exam today and I came out feeling totally empty. I got to 176 questions before the computer shuts down. I felt like I was getting every one of the last 10 questions wrong before it shuts down. Plus, I kept getting a bunch on infection control question, drugs, and priority questions ; It was a nightmare, I am so depressed. Did any of you take it recently, if yes how did you do...I am paying to get my result tomorrow and I know I wont sleep tonight...another thing, is there an RN chatroom where one can go and talk....I need some moral support. :cry::cry: :cry:

I felt the same way. I walked away from that computer feeling like i was sick. I had 75 questions and took it in like 40 minutes. I did the pearson vue trick. and later found out that i passed. So try the PVT and rest your nerves. Think Positive

Hi! I took the rn exam Sep. 29th and I got my result after 3 days.. I got lots of infection control, prioritization, SATA and no med calculation.. My computer shut off at 75.. I felt I passed the exam but when I got home and read some thread, they said that if you felt you passed the exam that means you failed! so my gut changed and I was really nervous especially when I found out that I got the last question wrong which is pharmacology and that's my weakness.. God is good! I passed! so all the myths about the last question and guts are not true except for pvt cause it worked for me lol I'm a foreign graduate and I didn't go to any review program.. just don't lose hope.. I know you can do this.. I will pray for you.. good luck and God bless!

OH geesh, I finally got a glimmer of hope. I did the trick like some of you suggested, and a pop up told me that I've already registered for this exam and I needed to contact the "board members" for further assisstance....so I didn't reach the payment page, does that mean I passed?

Thanks for the prayers; God knows I need them. Someone told me I should wait and call the 24-hr result center after 6pm. I am so worried. I've spent $400 already on this test, and when I finally got to take it I failed....how aweful.

PRAYER ANSWERED! CONGRATULATIONS! I'm happy for you! that's what I felt too.. even I got the famous

pop up I'm still nervous! trust me you passed! so try to relax for now cause you'll be needing a lot of energy

when you see you're result lol! let us know when you got you're result.. ;)

oh man, I don't think i've ever been that nervous all my life. You really think the trick works?...I don't know how to feel right now; part of me wants to be happy, part of me is saying what if I don't pass...

lol yeah I'm sure the trick works! cause I read a thread that say's if the pvt let's you go to the cc page it means you have to pay another registration fee cause you failed and if they won't let you reregister that means you passed and don't have to reregister again.. make sense huh? I know how you feel right now lol I'm also the type of person who is always calm and when I took this exam and wait for the result I can't eat and sleep well! all I'm doing is reading a lot of thread here in allnurses.com lol even when we go outside, in the grocery or just in the car I was reading threads here in my phone! man I don't wanna experience that anymore lol I just can't wait for you to find out the result lol are you a foreign graduate too? congrats again lol just relax..

lol it's like you're reading my mind...I've been googling "NCLEX" informations since I got home yesterday. I have read almost everything there is to read about NCLEX on this forum. I have such a huge headache right now...I need to try to get some sleep. Did it work for you when you took your NCLEX?

Believe all of us that the PVT works! There are over 4900 testimonies that it definitely works. I'm pretty sure you passed! CONGRATS! If you wanna make sure, it wouldn't hurt if you pay for the quick results. I think its $7 or $8. And you can definitely celebrate when you see those 4-letter word saying PASS.
