Hello Guys I am new to this... But here it goes. I took NCLEX-RN today for the second time. The first time I had 114 questions and I a failed :( Today I got all 265 questions :( I am so worried that I didnt pass again!??! Its just nerve racking!! How long does it usually take the NCBON to post license and whats your experience with passing or failing w/265 questions?!?! Thanks Guys!!!! :)

I sure hope so!!!! I will let you know when I find out and If I did pass I will be just one more case to back the PearsonVue Trick :)

I hear ya dear! I hear ya!

You said you took it Saturday? What state are you in? Can you not already view your quick results?!?! I have my fingers crossed for you :)

Mass. I can view it, but I really dont want to be disappointed. Because the exam was out of this world. Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for me.

I know there are soo many theories and ideas about getting all 265 questions but I guess waiting fr my results is going to be the only sure way but its soooooo nerve-racking to wait!!!!! :( God Blessed me with alot but he didnt give me a ounce of patience :/

Wasn't it crazy. I had prioratization, delgation, couple meds. But it was hard to place where this exam was going.

Oh well I will have to wait and see. I am numb.

Waterfall, Good Luck

Congratulations, RN. :)

From what I've read before, if you answer a certain % of questions correctly by the 75th question, the test ends and you pass. By the same token if you answer a certain % of questions incorrectly by the 75th question, the test ends and you fail. If the test keeps going it means that you are at some in between point and haven't answered x% of questions correctly or incorrectly for a pass/fail to be determined. If you got all 265 I would imagine that you stayed in the middle the entire test. I don't know what that would mean for the final test result.

Yeah, you are right. So all I have to do is hope I was above the mark to pass. But I am not ready to face the pressure. Thanks for feed back.

Oh me too my test was all over the place. I had delegation, prioritization, med after med, then a 100 teaching and infection control questions!!!.. I'm soo ready to find out I hate waiting!

Moved to the NCLEX forum

You can pass with max number i the same way you can fail with 265 It is just a number and that the computer could not decide completely you passed.

Hang in there and good luck

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you but I took it saturday and found out yesterday morning that I failed at 265. I have to wait 45 days to retest. I already started all the paperwork again. What I can say is this. Was I devistated yes. Did I feel horrible yes. But I look at it this way I know what to expect next time and I was doing something semi right because it took me all the way to 265. It means I knew the content just maybe got thrown off the questions a little. I was doing great on my review course it said I had a 99% chance of passing the first time. But they dont factor in the intensity of nerves. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you passed! Let us know!

Don't get down on youself. Aleast you can test again, then having to reapply to nursing school. Look at the back. if you are near passing or above passing you just need to fine tune.

Cheerup.
