just took the test yesterday, I stopped at 75. I had 3 or 4 SATA questions, the rest are all multiple choice. No drug computation whatsoever.. :cry: huhu I really think I failed.. I heard having 5-7 SATA questions is a good sign of passing. Is it true?

its really hard to say whats good and whats not with this test. i dont know what state you are in, hopefully you will get your results soon. try not to think about the test, it will make you worry more, trust me. go out with your friends or family and have fun. wish you all the best. let us know when you get your result. good luck

very very hard to predict some had few SATA and others lots of SATA and either passed o failed.

Good luck

I stopped at 75, no calculation questions either and passed. EVERYBODY comes out of NCLEX thinking they failed. I did too, you did fine I'm sure. There are so many variations on the test that I dont see how there can be a pattern to pass/fail. The NCLEX uses an adaptive system that gives questions based on the user's level. Remember, the average NCLEX taker only gets 50% of their questions correct. That is a direct quote from the NCSBN official site. It is a minimum competency test. Stay strong, you'll know soon enough!:bugeyes:

Try not to worry too much. The instructors at my school have said that if it shuts off at 75, you have a 90-95% chance (or higher) of passing. With the 15 questions they use to just see if they are good questions, that leaves only 60 actual questions. I think the computer would have a hard time knowing for sure that you were below the competency level in only 60 questions. good luck and try to do something fun to keep your mind off things.

i have a 2nd edition NCLX review book.......i dont know the name right now.......but is there any one good one to studay from......

some of the questions in the review book are nuts.....i mean easy nuts.......like duh common sense........and then there are some with medical terms i have no idea what they are talking about......is this what the NCLEX is like?

also...what do yo mean by SATA?

i guess last yr a few students said they had only 2 med questions...and 2 calculations..........but i heard from our intructors that it is oing to be harder this year...........they have new questions on it........i dont know the name of the tyoe of question but it consist of dragging your mouse to identify the area they ask of you........

any info on the NCLEX is very much appreciated.........

SATA=select all that apply

Depends on how you study but I found Saunders excellent where other preferred Kaplan

I took mine on the 19th and had a lot of SATA. The computer stopped at 75 questions and I thought I failed, but by the grace of god I passed. Keep thinking positive. :D
