I got terminated, should I put them down on my job history?
I also was terminated as a Medical Assistant over some crap that I did not do, but now I am a RN and I was scared about what my former employer was going to say and like the other post all he stated was that he could tell them the dates that I worked and my position. When my present employer tried to ask him other questions he stated this is the only information that I can give you, but when I was interviewed and was ask why I left the position I explained and I still got the job. I do not know if it was because I was a medical assistant at the time and now I am a RN. GOOD LUCK!

Can i work whiles retaking NCLEX RN?
Yes, you can work as a CNA until you get your license and I think it would be the best think to do, so once you pass you will have experience and will feel comfortable with the transition into a RN position.

Nclex and eye problems
It might time out on you regardless of how you take the test, but if there are special accomodations and you have time to apply for those do so. Good luck on the NCLEX.

Nclex and eye problems
My advise is to write down the questions on the pad that is given to you. A classmate of mine stated that is what is did because she was used to using paper and pencil and it was hard for her to get use to the computer. She had 75 questions and passed. It took her 4 hours but she said she got a better understanding of the question that way.

2nd Rn Interview
I HAD A INTERVIEW FOR A FORENSIC NURSE TODAY IN ATLANTA. I FIRST SPOKE WITH THE NURSE RECRUITER, WHICH WAS GREAT AND THEN I SPOKE WITH THE NURSE MANAGER. WHEN SHE CAME TO GET ME SHE FORGOT MY NAME AND IT WAS 2 OTHER WOMEN IN THE ROOM AND SHE CALLED OUT SHENIECE WE ALL LOOK AT EACH OTHER AND THEN SHE STATED TELL ME YOUR NAME. SHE SAID OH YEAH I NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOU. AS WE WERE EXITING SHE WENT BACK IN THE HR OFFICE AND LEFT ME STANDING IN THE HALL. ONCE WE GOT INTO HER OFFICE HER PHONE STARTS TO RING AND SHE ANSWER THE PHONE AND SAY I AM SORRY BUT WE ARE GOING TO CUT THE INTERVIEW SHORT I HAVE AN AUDIT AND THE FLOOR NEEDS ME. WE DID GET TO SPEAK FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES AND SHE STATED AT THE END OF THE INTERVIEW I DO HAVE 12-15 MORE PEOPLE TO INTERVIEW AND IF YOU ARE THE CANDIDATE YOU WILL HEAR FROM ME IN 3-4 WEEKS. I OVERHEARD IN HR THAT SHE HAD INTERVIEWS ALL DAY. I THOUGHT THIS WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND THANK GOD I ALREADY HAVE A JOB AND START MARCH 31. :bowingpur I STILL WROTE HER A THANK YOU LETTER. OH YEAH, THE RECRUITER ASK ME WHAT WAS MY INTEREST AND I TOLD HER ONCOLOGY WHICH SHE IS THE MANAGER ON THE ONCOLOGY FLOOR. THE RECRUITER TOLD ME SHE HAS AN OPENING ON THAT FLOOR AND THE MANAGER TOLD ME SHE DID NOT HAVE AN OPENING ON THAT FLOOR. I ALSO WENT ON THE WEBSITE AND SAW AN ONCOLOGY POSITION. I WILL BE WORKING IN ICU. GOD KNOWS BEST.

Failed the nclex... how to get remotivated
I know how you feel. In the state of GA you have to wait 90 days. I failed the first time in September and was scheduled to retake it in January, but I took it Feb 19 and passed. DO NOT GIVE UP. Take a break and begin to study in a week. I used Judith Miller DVD's, which gave me a quick review of info that I had forgot and then I went to the bookstore every other day and answered questions. When you are doing the questions, please read the rationales.

ANYONE... I always fail at 75
My situation is similar, I failed with 75 in September but I passed with 75 February 21, 2008. Keep thinking positive I know it is easier said than done.
-
I stopped at 75.. I think I failed.
I took mine on the 19th and had a lot of SATA. The computer stopped at 75 questions and I thought I failed, but by the grace of god I passed. Keep thinking positive.

Nclex
I know how you feel. I took mine for the second time February 19 and received my results (PASS) on the 20. It seem that no one could understand why I worried and why I was getting ready to prepare for a third time especially when I received 75 questions for the second time. My mom was very helpful she advised me to get on my knees and pray and ask GOD to bring me peace. Do not prepare to study until you receive your results. Think positive and prepare to look for a job instead of taking the test for the 3rd time. I will pray for you and hope that you receive a PASS also. Let me know and I will let you know what help me for the second time, but until you receive your results I will keep my advise and pray to GOD that you passed. Once you receive your pass results you can dance all night. I did.

Exam in 4 weeks. I AM LOST! I need support...
I hope you passed/pass. I just took my exam 19th of February for the second time and passed with 75 questions and I was sure I had failed. I would advise anyone that failed or taken the NCLEX for the first time is to answer alot of questions and READ THE RATIONALE. I also went back and reviewed the systems that I wasn't familiar with and I used Judith Miller's DVD's, they were great. Actually I reviewed all of the DVD's and then I answered questions, questions, questions, and by the grace of God I am finally a BSN:bowingpur:nurse: Now I can dance all night.

Just failed Nclex-RN - Hints on Studying
I do not feel that I passed the NCLEX. I had 75 questions the first time and 75 question the second time. I thought I was well prepared for this test and spent over 1000.00 trying to past this test. I have tried several NCLEX books I bought Judith Miller DVD's, which I can say that it did help me with the knowledge that I had forgot. Yes, I knew all of the strategies did it help no. I had alot of medications and prioritization. I really felt like giving up on this test and using my bachelor degree for something else and going back to school to work on my master. After reading this forum and the support that I have from my husband I decided to give it another try and use Suzanne's plan. I really appreciate that she has a kind heart not to charge for this program because I am totally fundless and need a job like yesterday. The questions are nothing like the book. I will start her program today and pray that it works for me. I will be a nurse one day even if I have to work in some other field I will continue to take the test. In GA, you have up to 3 years from the time you graduate.
